About ILUM BASE

​​Welcome to Ilum Base, the Minnesota-based chapter of the Rebel Legion Star Wars costuming group! Established in 2020 to share our passion for the galaxy far, far away, Ilum Base aims to be a shining beacon for Star Wars fans. As an officially recognized unit of the Rebel Legion, we dedicate ourselves to promoting and celebrating the iconic heroes and heroines from the Star Wars saga while actively giving back to our community through charitable appearances and community outreach.

We pride ourselves on the highest standards of costuming excellence. Each member painstakingly crafts screen-accurate and meticulously detailed costumes representing beloved characters from the Star Wars universe. From the valiant Jedi Knights to the daring Rebel Alliance soldiers, our diverse array of characters brings joy to fellow fans at conventions, charity events, and community gatherings.

The Rebel Legion is an international Star Wars costuming organization created by, of and for people interested in creating costumes from the Star Wars mythos. Research, create, build and improve your costumes in a place where costumers with similar passions share skills, tips and ideas. Jedi, Rebel Pilots, Troopers, Princesses and even Wookiees, we've got them all! And we’re always looking for more.
