Join The Bakken Museum on weekends and school release days this December for activities inspired by our favorite Star Wars droids. Program a robot using code, find Astromec droids hidden throughout the museum, and build your own jittery robot! Activities are included in museum admission. Droid December is appropriate for all ages and skill levels.

Anoka Halloween Capital of the World® provides opportunities for our community to support our schools and scholarships with unique family-friendly Halloween celebrations. This is a 100% volunteer-supported organization.

The Shine a Light NF Walk is a fundraising event to benefit the Children's Tumor Foundation and help end NF. Neurofibromatosis, or NF, affects millions of people worldwide, but few have heard of it and there currently is no cure. The Shine a Light NF Walk brings NF out of the shadows, raising awareness and funding research to help better the lives of those living with NF.

Fargo-Moorhead businesses, organizations, and individuals are welcomed each year to participate in the annual Pride Parade. These groups create floats, signs and toss candy (and glitter) to show their support of the LBGTQ+ community.
